Looks like we are back in business around these parts. First on Friday night Aries goes in and has some good times with some fancy new killing on Halion in Ruby Sanctum 10 Man.

Then Valkyries follows up taking down that Barney wanna be in 25 man.

Then Dragons comes in on Monday with the trump card and does a nice nuking job to that Fabio looking Lich King. Really great job Dragons, Kingslayers.

Great job all teams on going in a getting it done. Go AMR!

It’s been a long road with a lot of turn over.  With a lot of hard work and effort put into it I am very happy to congratulate Aries on the guild first 10 man Lich King kill.  It was a fun run and thanks all for sticking it out.  Grats to Olama, Aviney, Hilljack, Atron, Solaryn, Shamanystic, Lliira, Flica and Balora.  On the killing attempt not a single death until we were supposed to die =) Might have been easier had Aviney not been using flowers for his mainhand, just saying.

Okay first things first as it has been a while since I posted.  Lots of birthdays recently.  Happy Birthday to the following (deep breath) Mascarilla on June 17th, WrbCherokee on June 19th, Aldrel on June 21st, Vivacity and Keza  on July 1st, Munnyshot on July 4th, Syllis on July 7th and upcoming this next week we have Solaryn on the 13th and Lumi on the 14th. It’s late for some but seriously a heart felt Happy Birthday to every single one of you.

Lots of news has been coming out about Cataclysm and possible changes.  We are looking into ways to handle all the new content and new raid ID situations so stay tuned.

Hans and his sister got into trouble after they had trespassed the territory of the moose during a walk in the forest near their home. When the moose attacked them, Hans knew the first thing he had to do was ‘taunt’ and provoke the animal so that it would leave his sister alone and she could run to safety. ‘Taunting’ is a move one uses in World of Warcraft to get monsters off of the less-well-armored team members.

Once Hans was a target, he remembered another skill he had picked up at level 30 in ‘World of Warcraft’ – he feigned death. The moose lost interest in the inanimate boy and wandered off into the woods. When he was safely alone Hans ran back home to share his tale of video game-inspired survival.

First and most important BIRTHDAYS!!

Missed a few along the way. Happy Birthday to Keltari, Knightmonk, Mistletow, and Hickok. Hope you all had great birthdays.

Also celebrating a birthday was AMR itself. 5 years! crazy ain’t it. To celebrate about 20 of us had some gnome races on a PvP server. We made some level one gnomes and raced from the start zone to the Blood Elf start zone. Grats to Leahonta for taking first place and winning a Celestial mount. Grats to Yomi, Elfbert and JoJo on their new pets for least and most deaths getting there. Was just a silly good time.

All the raid teams are cooking along.

Calamitous Intent and Dragons only have Sindragosa and the Lich King himself left in ICC. Pheonix has downed Putricide and Aries has gotten Sindragosa down.

So we went in to ICC this week and what did we do?  We killed the professor!! There he was making a special nuclear power plant out of coconuts.  We walked right in and one shot him for the first time.

On a more somber note, as a lot of you know one of our members lost their father on Friday. What some may not know is that one of our other members lost their mother recently. I am not going to use names on such on open forum but I just wanted to say that our thoughts and prayers go out to both of you in such difficult times. We are all sorry for you loss and hope that the game and the guild can be at least a little bit of an escape from your troubles.

A quick note to everyone else who may get upset because something went wrong in a raid, or some so-and-so ninja’d the sweet loot, or some Mo grabbed that titanium node out from under you. Weigh it. It certainly is not worth getting too worked up over.

Well, in the past week and some new kills maybe one or two, let us see what we have:

Calamitous Intent kills Rotface and Festergut for the first time. Phoenix Burns down Rotface, Blood Princes and the Blood Queen.
Dragons swooop in and light the place up on Monday. Putricide, Blood Prince and Blood Queen all new kills in a single night. Nice work all the way around everyone!

Valkyries hits the 25 man with a nice happy new Blood Queen kill. I also wanted to give a big shout out to the Valkyries for showing up on Easter Sunday for some solid progression work on Putricide. Didn’t actually expect there to be a raid that night and we came in with a very strong showing.

We also have a ton-o-berfdays so let us begin: Malyci gets old this very day. Munnyshot gets old on Wednesday. Finally Thunderhand and Brian share Birthdays on Friday (if not decades O.O) Happy Birthday to all those in AMR celebrating them. May all your birthday wishes come true. Or at least you get fat on some really good cake.
